How can someone who is waiting for a PS3 be a loser? When they haven't actually spent any money yet! It appears to me that if XBOX 360 owners are WRONG, and PS3 kicks 360 butt, they will be the real LOSERS. Maybe that is why they complain so much! This is the mentality we're getting from lots of places on the net. Someone digs up news they think is dirt, and then tries to pass it off as gold. It doesn't matter because only those already decided on another console would believe it anyway. And PS3 owners will have a higher IQ, because they will have thought before they bought.
He's right though. You want a true next generation console, you buy a PS3. It's the future proof console. Ready for 1080p. Ready for HDMI. Ready for bigger games(Blu-ray Storage 50 Gigs). Complete backward compatibility on PS2 games, more USB ports, more controllers(7 multiplayer). More hard drive space(60 Gigs). Better games. The list could go on. You are paying more but you are getting ALOT MORE, in return. Oh, and no add-ons required!

I was happy with PSone, then PS2, I am guessing I'll be happy with PS3. I trust the brand. I also have a widescreen Sony TV,and Sony surround sound system. I am happy with these also. You guys won't convince me otherwise. Read my other comments.

The reason Dreamcast failed is the same reason why Microsoft can't win. Playstation Power. 101 million PS2 users (vs XBOX's pitiful 24 million) are going to remain loyal to Sony. Firstly,don't believe everything you read in forums. The majority of bad reports are unfounded and are just mud throwing. Some mud sticks. HD-DVD is selling at a fairly slow pace and will not have gained enough ground by the time PS3 comes out. Then once PS3 starts selling you can kiss HD-DVD goodbye.
